As planners we are all about the visuals. February 2021 is the perfect month for this, starting on a Monday and ending on a Sunday. So with a Monday start calendar, four complete weeks, no overhang, no switching between monthly tabs in my planners…..and I love it!

I decided to celebrate this wonderful visual……… by choosing the beautiful ‘Meadow’ collection for my Hobonichi monthly layout, 2 weeks of its weekly layouts and the first week of February in my Erin Condren vertical layout.

The mini months sheet is beautiful with its thick washi for the bottom of the page and  soft rainbow colours. It’s technically for March and April but I used a ‘February’ word from R308 and viola! The small stickers are perfect for upcoming events and the larger block stickers allow me to visually see when I need to block out a half day.

The mini weeks sheet with its 2 strips of mon-sun now give the ability to decorate 2 weekly layouts. I chose to make the first week a feast of flowers and the second one a rainbow week. I don’t have the need to use the same layout on the notes side of the layout each week so this works perfectly.

For this I’ve used the weekly core, half boxes, days and dates and the deco sheets. With the current lockdown my weekly layout has shifted to be more task rather than event based but there is still plenty of reason to make everything to look pretty. I love the Mon-Sun check list and it’s a great way to record meals for the week.

Erin Condren Daily Duo:

I thought I was done after this but I have lots of pretty stickers left so I’ve started using them on my Daily Duo pages for this week too. I really find it doesn’t matter which planner stickers are ‘meant for’ there is always a way to use up odd and ends with a little bit of creativity.  After that any really ‘stickers left behind’ stickers are going to be added to my new ‘reusable sticker album’. I’m going to colour code this and will probably add some tabs on the side for ease of use.
