Monthly planner review process

Monthly Review

I do a Monthly Review each month. Usually it’s quite structured, where I have certain categories such as “What I learned”, “What I want to try next month”, “Challenges”, “Wins”, etc. This month, I’m trying something different. I've set up my September Review page in the middle of the month so that I can keep track of things that happen, as they happen. Last weekend, I put myself “in the zone” by setting up my page and then I just wrote. Here’s what I came up with:

If you read my last post, you’ll know that my planner has become my mental illness recovery companion: a creative tool for managing my life, an authentic record of the wellness journey I’m on, and a daily dose of colour, light and hope. In today’s post, I’d like to share one of the way I use my bullet journal to increase my mental resilience and help me rediscover wellness: hazard planning.

I didn't plan! Am I a bad person?!

I love my planner. It organises my life, my brain and even my mood! It’s aesthetically pleasing, its a hobby, it’s helped me meet loads of like minded people and drained my bank account! I spend time with it, I work on it and with it, it goes everywhere with me. But sometimes life gets in the way.
I recently experienced this BIG TIME.
