Erin Condren and Hobonichi Techo

I'm a vertical planner, I love lists and days that run top to bottom and it suits the way I plan. But I've just had a week where nothing has worked for me and I need a refresh. So armed with 2 planners that are not in my normal comfort zone I thought I would try something different for a week. I've chosen an Erin Condren Horizontal for my weekly overview and my Hobonichi Techo which is normally for recording my gratitude for my daily pages. This will be where my to dos, lists and notes go.

Erin Condren, Passion Planner and the evolution of my monthly layout

If there is one part of a planner that I have struggled with more than any other, it is the monthly spread. Starting with a bullet journal, I never had enough space to record everything that was going on and I just couldn’t make it work for a while.

The first planner I go was my Erin Condren Vertical – I say first… I’d already got the teacher planner. I was in limbo for a long time and was adding stickers for personal things that were going on – guides each week, then a few stickers for other events. It was always just a bit empty.

Hobonichi and a day in the life of a planner

For this week's blog post I thought you'd like to come along with me and I would give you a little snippet into a fairly standard non-working day in my life.

Today is the first of March which means a new EllieBeth gratitude challenge. I started my morning with a cup of coffee and an Instagram post showing this month's prompts, I also popped onto the Facebook group and replied to the daily prompt post for the day.
