Hobonichi, Chic Sparrow, Erin Condren rainbow week layouts

It's an exciting week this week - EBDUK is 4 on Saturday!

To celebrate the occasion as a Design Team Linsay, Sophie, Robyn and I are decorating our planners in true EllieBeth Design's fashion with a riot of Rainbows. You'll be able to find us all on Instagram and in the EllieBeth facebook group but we thought it might be fun to showcase our planners together. We have 2 A6 Hobonichi's, a Chic Sparrow personal with daily inserts, B6 WO2P, Erin Condren vertical and a Hobonichi Cousin video from Robyn. That's just the ones we're admitting to now.....

Planning supplies, Hobonichi techo and stickers for on the go

Today I’m writing about the planning essentials I take out and about with me. Most of us have a planner that we take out on the go with us, an EDC (everyday carry). It may be a small planner in addition to our main planner or it may be that we only use one so it goes everywhere. I use an EC Hourly which stays at home as I find it far too big and heavy to carry around. My smaller Hobonichi Techo A6 is my on the go planner and this fits perfectly into my bag. I recently downsized my bag as I was just carrying too far too much unnecessary stuff and it was far too heavy. I was using a B6 TN at this point and was just filling it with more and more inserts because I had the space. But then I wasn’t using half pf these so what was the point? So I moved to a smaller planner. My current bag is far roomy than it looks and you’d be surprise at what I can get in there. You may be wondering what else is in there apart from my planner? Purse, keys, pens (several), hand cream and of course stickers. Inside my planner there are more stickers, paperclips, shopping lists, odd scraps of paper with notes to add later on and my Penguin Joe die cut!

Planning in a Penguin Wonderland

I love penguins! You wouldn’t have guessed would you? I mean I only use a small, maybe not small of penguins in my planner! Let me take you back to when it all started…… December 1st 2007 I acquired my first penguin called George. There he was, a lonely penguin sat all alone on the shelves of Woolworths, so I just had to buy him. I can’t remember why we called him George but the name has stuck and it rather suits him! Since then I’ve picked up a penguin here and there, people have given them as gifts and that is pretty much it. My desk is surrounded by penguins. The house is pretty much full of penguins!
