With Spring finally here and the beautiful sight of the snowdrops, tulips and daffodils popping up every where, it reminds me that Spring is a chance for new beginnings, fresh starts and an opportunity to try new things. This spring is definitely one that we will remember for years to come and routines will change however that’s no reason to damper your spring spirits!
Using the newly released and beautiful kit “Wish” from EllieBeth Designs UK, I have decorated my on the go planner (although going nowhere 😁) and used it to plan the usuals like chores, to dos etc but also a section for ideas of what to do with the children. A very important section “Gratitude” is included at the top of the page so that we can remember that even in challenging times, there are things that we can always be grateful for - NHS employees, police, teachers, supermarket employees that continue to fill our shelves up, postmen, and internet!
Being aware that as events and plans are being cancelled (even my brother in laws wedding!) I did not want to double plan in my planners so having been inspired by these 2 #stickerate books - Spring is coming and Self Care - I decided to plan in my classic using these.
These pages are filled with quotes from the EllieBeth #stickerate books and is separated into 2 sections - one is plans for the children - actual evidence of what they are doing as my homeschooling plans have been moved forward by a month lol. The second section is all about me! My self care, mental health and taking time for my health. As a carer to 4 vulnerable people in these challenging times, I need to keep safe, keep healthy and keep going!
So no matter what your Spring plans are, don’t let the coronavirus or the dampened weather let you down - it always spring in your planners thanks to EllieBeth Designs UK. These are challenging times, but also a time where anything is possible and your dreams are only limited by your imagination!
In our household, we are venturing into homeschooling as a permanent solution for my autistic children, my daughter is learning to walk again after undergoing quite a hefty operation on her leg last week, we are looking into virtual zoo trips, virtual learning , google earth and good old board games to learn, explore and bond.
So stay safe, stay healthy and bring the much needed sunshine and holiday spirit into your homes with EllieBeth Designs UK sticker kits!
