Did you know every month there is a Throwback Thursday release at EllieBeth Designs? It is a limited time re-release of a favourite design from the past including planner kits of all sizes and a creative kit with decorative pieces, acetate and card items. You can vote for which collection returns in the Facebook group for a couple of days before the release which adds some fun and excitement to the whole event.  Well, when "Take Me To The Ocean" was voted in for release a couple of months ago I couldn't resist the "Mini Creative Pack". I thought I'd give you some ideas of what the pack entails and what you can make with it, just by adding a few things from your craft stash.

#TBT Creative Pack from EllieBeth Designs UK

Firstly, I wanted to make a simple monthly divider look a little bit prettier and more fitting for the summer. So I made a shaker card and attached it to the front. I love the way shaker cards look, and the vellum, acetate and die cut stickers gave the perfect look with the addition of some foam pads and some sequins I already had.

I love to get creative in the daily pages in my Hobonichi Cousin. I think adding an extra vellum page adds something beautiful to my planner, and getting A4 sheets in the pack means there is plenty to use and flexibility for size as well.  On either side of the page I used some more of the die cut stickers over some doilies. I also used some decorative days from a Days and Dates sheet to finish the look. All ready to be filled in, maybe after a lovely day at the beach.

Finally, I have been wanting to set up a travel journal for my A5 travellers notebook for a while. I had a craft notebook so decided to cover the front. I used the remaining vellum and acetate and the die cut stickers to make a flip front cover to be a little more tactile.

So look out for Throwback Thursdays every month. What would you make with your mini creative pack?
